Member clubs are reminded of a number of federal and state reforms that commenced on 1 July 2026.
| Reform | FED/NSW | Summary of Reform |
| Payday Super | FED | Clubs must pay their employees super for each payday, and super payments must reach super funds within seven business days after each payday. |
| Changes to Superannuation Advertising | FED | There will be a ban on advertising superannuation products to new employees during the onboarding period. |
| SMS Sender ID Regulations | FED | Clubs using alphanumeric SMS sender IDs (i.e. brand name) must register them with ACMA to prevent messages from being unverified or blocked. |
| Food Waste and General Waster Separation | NSW | The first phase of businesses in NSW that handle or sell food are required to separate food waste from general waste. |
| Seafood Labelling Requirements | FED | Clubs will be required to label seafood dishes with country-of-origin information using the Australian-Imported-Mixed (AIM) model. |
