March is all about the love of lobster at Dee Why RSL.
Club members and guests have been diving deep into a delectable range of lobster dishes, starting at just $25. And to make their crustation sensations even more exciting, the Club currently has a six-metre-long lobster on their roof, with patrons being invited to give the new mascot a name for the chance to take home a $200 voucher for restaurant, Flame.
Dee Why RSL’s Executive Manager of Operations and Compliance Bruce McLean said the new month-long lobster menu is seafood lovers’ dream.
“There are so many options, from the rich flavours of Lobster pasta in Aqua, to the smoky perfection of grilled lobster at Flame, and the creamy goodness of lobster mornay at the Bistro,” Bruce said.
“For a casual bite, enjoy the mouth-watering lobster sliders at Courtyard, or experience the spicy kick of lobster tacos at Battery House. And don’t miss out on the aromatic delight of ginger and shallot lobster at Tastes of Asia.”
Bruce said the reception of the lobster menu options had been fantastic so far.
“Being close to the coast everyone here just loves seafood,” he said.
“Overall, each of our food outlets has their own special lobster dish.”
Bruce said the winning name of the lobster will be announced at the end of the month.
“I think we've had over 100 entries so far... Larry the lobster is the front runner so far.”
