The multi-stage project includes the newly approved $50 million Lakeview over-55s living development, alongside a suite of planned upgrades such as outdoor terraces, pickleball courts, and recreation areas. Together, these works reflect Diggers’ long-term vision to remain at the heart of community life for decades to come.
Lakeview Seniors Living
The $50 million Lakeview project will deliver 87 independent living apartments designed to help locals downsize while staying connected to family, friends and the Tuggerah Lakes area they love.
Key features include:
- 70 two-bedroom and 17 three-bedroom units
- Rooftop garden, landscaped courtyards and BBQ facilities
- 24/7 onsite management and concierge services
- Secure basement parking for 106 vehicles.
“This development will give older residents the chance to downsize while staying close to their family, friends and the beautiful Tuggerah Lakes,” CEO Stephen Byfield says.
New Community Facilities
In addition to Lakeview, Diggers will invest a further $5 million in major upgrades to benefit members and the wider community.
These include:
- An outdoor dining terrace with 168 seats, designed for socialising and events
- New pickleball courts and synthetic bowling greens, encouraging active living
- A new 28-space car park with improved pedestrian access.
