Key Points
- All club secretaries must complete the Government’s Licensee Training.
- Secretaries of clubs authorised to trade after midnight on 12 or more occasions over 12 months must complete the Advanced Licensee Training.
- There are various training due dates depending on when you were appointed to your current licence.
If you were approved as a secretary at a club after 1 September 2018, you must take immediate action to complete the appropriate levels of training.
If you were appointed as a secretary prior to 1 September 2018, you must complete the appropriate levels of training before the expiry date of your competency card, or by 1 April 2024, whichever is sooner.
Not completing the appropriate level of training prior to the required timeframe could result in enforcement action being taken against you and your club.
More information on Licensee Training can be found on L&GNSW’s website. You can find an approved training provider on L&GNSW’s ATP Search and Mapping Tool.
