Completing Licensee Training Requirements Before the Due Date

All club secretaries are required to complete Licensee Training. Secretaries in clubs authorised to trade after midnight on 12 or more occasions over 12 months must also complete Advanced Licensee Training. Liquor & Gaming NSW has commenced issuing reminders to licensees and secretaries who have yet to complete the appropriate training as a final notice prior to enforcement action being taken.

Secretaries of clubs authorised to trade after midnight on 12 or more occasions over 12 months must complete the Advanced Licensee Training.
There are various training due dates depending on when you were appointed to your current licence.

If you were approved as a secretary at a club after 1 September 2018, you must take immediate action to complete the appropriate levels of training.

If you were appointed as a secretary prior to 1 September 2018, you must complete the appropriate levels of training before the expiry date of your competency card, or by 1 April 2024, whichever is sooner.

Not completing the appropriate level of training prior to the required timeframe could result in enforcement action being taken against you and your club.
