Kicking off on Wednesday, 4 October with the Keno Welcome Party, the Conference program is jam-packed with impressive keynotes, including:
- Mastering Leadership, Culture & Marketing at Your Club — Adjunct Professor Lisa Ronson
Lisa’s engaging keynote will explore leadership principles and provide a framework for how to lead from the top down with real-life examples. Lisa will give advice on the importance of building a strong and positive organisational culture, and how delegates can achieve this at their club. The fundamentals of marketing and customer centricity will also be explored, providing a practical methodology that delegates can take away and use to the benefit of their club.
- Know First, Be First, Profit First — Craig Rispin
Learn about the people, business and tech trends transforming businesses around the world. Craig will explore the driving forces impacting the club industry and give delegates specific ideas to gain a strategic advantage. Learn how to think like a futurist to benefit your club – how to analyse trends and anticipate change. Explore the power of foresight – and how to set your club apart from the competition.

- Curtis McGrath
In 2012, as a young soldier, Curtis was only three months into a tour of Taliban-rife areas of Afghanistan when he stepped on a homemade landmine, tragically losing both his legs in the blast. In a true story of triumph over tragedy, to get himself through those horrific moments that followed, Curtis turned his focus to becoming a Paralympian, going on to not only compete, but become a gold-medallist at the Paralympic Games.
