Member clubs are advised that the Return to Work Planning webinar is now available to watch, here.
This webinar is relevant for club leaders, managers and staff responsible for supporting employees returning to work following an injury or illness.
Presented in partnership with Hospitality Industry Insurance and FIFO Mental Health Services, the webinar provides practical guidance to help member clubs meet their return-to-work obligations and support injured employees throughout their recovery.
Member clubs that employ staff are reminded that they must have a return-to-work program in place. The program must outline how workplace injuries will be reported, how injured employees will be consulted and how suitable duties will be provided. It must be reviewed at least every two years.
The webinar also explores how early intervention, regular communication and suitable duties can support a safe recovery while helping employees remain connected to the workplace.
