Member clubs are advised that Liquor & Gaming NSW (L&GNSW) has released a new ‘Harm-Minimisation Self-Audit Checklist’.
You can access the checklist here.
The checklist has been developed following the previous gaming harm minimisation reforms and is designed to support venues to self-assess their gaming operations and maintain compliance with the Gaming Machines Act and Regulations.
Noting the checklist is comprehensive in length and detail, members are encouraged to consider the frequency of which the different topics are checked. For instance, a total check may be undertaken annually, however more frequent checks can be completed on items such as signage, staff accreditations, training requirements, and RGO numbers and competency.
ClubsNSW will continue to work with L&GNSW to build on available and accessible services and resources to support member clubs to meet their regulatory obligations.
Member clubs can contact L&GNSW’s Hospitality Concierge with any questions relating to the checklist.
Please contact ClubAssist on 1300 730 001 with any further questions about compliance support services available through ClubsNSW.
