ClubsNSW Donates $10,000 to No Home, My Home
The idea of No Home, My Home started back when Sharon Robertson was a teen — she felt there had to be a better way for the homeless on the street.
Sharon was then quick to conceptualise the charity, sought support, assembled a board, and successfully obtained charity status. Over the course of several months and after examining over 3000 tent designs, Sharon finally identified and crafted the perfect tent to fit the bag, solidifying the charity's foundation.
The overarching goal of No Home, My Home is to provide individuals experiencing homelessness with dignity, a safe place to sleep, a secure space for their belongings, and a warm, dry environment — essentially, a place to call home.
CEO and Founder of No Home, My Home Sharon Robertson said she could not be more thankful to ClubsNSW for their sponsorship of $10,000.
“This means that we have been able to order 100 bags, which we can supply to the homeless, to help them keep their belongings safe, secure and dry,” Sharon said.
“Without their wonderful support, we would not be able to help so many people. We cherish these partnerships of working together to give dignity to those in need.
“You never know why and how someone ends up on the street. It does not matter, it could happen to anyone, it could happen to the person next to you, it could happen to you.”
The No Home, My Home bag setup includes:

The No Home, My Home bag is ingeniously designed to provide a comprehensive solution for individuals experiencing homelessness. This all-in-one bag allows individuals to keep all their belongings organised, featuring the capability to attach and hang additional items.
The bag is equipped with sturdy wheels, a braced bottom and back, thick canvas material, and robust zippers, making it durable and suitable for dragging around. Specifically designed for hockey gear, the bag can be easily moved with its extendable handle.
The inclusion of a waterproof cover ensures protection for both the bag and any attached items. Notably, the bag incorporates a specially designed tent, allowing one end of the bag to be inside the tent.
This unique design provides individuals with a secure space to sleep without the fear of their belongings being stolen. Moreover, a discreet container beneath the drawstring inside allows individuals to keep special items out of sight.
