The Ary Toukley Lends a Hand to Pack Christmas Hampers for Disadvantaged Kids
Staff and directors from The Ary Toukley have joined volunteers at We Care Connect’s Tuggerah facility to help pack 4000 gift hampers for local families in need.
The Club’s team visited the charity’s warehouse and is helping them deliver more than 4000 hampers filled with gifts and essential items to disadvantaged children and families across the Central Coast and Hunter regions.
We Care Connect is a volunteer-driven group that collects and redistributes quality pre-loved and new children’s items — from clothes and toys to prams and cots — to families in need.
The Christmas Hamper Appeal is one of the organisation’s biggest projects, spreading joy and hope to thousands of local children each year.
The Ary Toukley proudly supports We Care Connect through the ClubGRANTS program, funding community projects that make a real difference to local lives.
The hamper-packing day gave the Club’s directors and management a chance to see firsthand how their support helps brighten the holiday season for those most in need.
“Giving back to our community is at the heart of everything we do at The Ary,” says Trevor Haynes, CEO at The Ary Toukley.
“It was incredibly rewarding to work alongside the We Care Connect volunteers and know that together, we’re helping make Christmas a little brighter for so many local children.”
