Extended Trading Hours for Clubs During Upcoming Special Events
The NSW Government has approved extended trading hours for clubs and other licensed venues during select special events from March to June 2025.
Key Points
- Extended trading hours have been approved for select events from March to June 2025.
- Events include Mardi Gras, FA Cup Final, Bluesfest and more.
- Extended trading only applies to eligible venues in specified LGAs.
- Conditions apply, including mandatory live broadcasts for football finals.
This means eligible clubs can provide additional entertainment and services to their members and patrons while complying with the Liquor Act 2007.
The Minister for Gaming and Racing, the Hon. David Harris MP, has approved a series of special event extended trading periods for 2025. This extension allows eligible clubs and other licensed venues to remain open later for specific events across NSW.
