The Biggest Australasian Hospitality and Gaming Expo Yet!
The Australasian Hospitality and Gaming Expo (AHG Expo) — presented by TAB, MAX and SKY — will celebrate its 10th birthday in Brisbane on Wednesday, 12 March and Thursday, 13 March 2025… and this is one party you won’t want to miss.
Are you ready for the greatest AHG Expo party yet?
One of the biggest hospitality and gaming industry events is heading back to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre — and this year, it’s celebrating 10 years since it all began.
It’s hard to believe that the first AHG Expo took place on the Gold Coast a decade ago. Since then, the AHG Expo has transformed from humble beginnings to a cornerstone event on the Australasian hospitality and gaming industry calendar.
With visitor registration open (and totally free, as always), now is the time to secure your plans to join thousands of other hospitality and gaming industry members at the event.
As visitor Glenn Boston, manager of Stanthorpe RSL, said at the 2024 expo, this event is essential for their team — and not just the top-level managers.
“It was important to bring as many of our team as possible along, so that everyone could check out the latest in technology across their specific area of expertise,” said Glenn.
“We’re on the hunt for the latest in catering equipment, coffee machines, gaming and payment services.”
With almost 200 exhibitors already locked in to exhibit at the 2025 AHG Expo, it’s set to be another inspirational and innovative year. The AHG Expo brings together the very best services, technology and products under one roof.
Over the past decade, the AHG Expo has played host to world-first debuts and headline-making showdowns and facilitated countless business partnerships and networking opportunities. For hospitality and gaming industry members, it really is the place to be.
This year, the brand new ‘Discovery Deck’ will be adding to the excitement. Aiming to further enhance the visitor experience, this special speakers’ stage will be a place to discuss key industry trends and advancements, innovations, technology and business development. Presentations on the Discovery Deck will occur on Day One of the Expo (12 March). Each speaker will share a 20-minute presentation, followed by a further 10 minutes to answer audience questions.
There will also be a new Happy Hour taking place at the end of Day One, from 4pm to 5pm. Join your fellow industry members to debrief on all things Expo over a knock-off drink (or two).
And who could forget the ever-popular AHG Expo Diageo Cocktail Competition, which is set to return to the expo floor for the third year in a row. Now open to entrants from pubs, clubs and bars all over Australia — not just Queensland — the 2025 competition is shaping up to be our fiercest yet.
As if all that weren’t exciting enough, the AHG Congress provides the ultimate taster for the two-day AHG Expo. Taking place on Tuesday, 11 March (also at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre), the AHG Congress is the club industry’s leading governance and management congress. Presented by ClubsNSW, Clubs Queensland and the Club Managers’ Association Australia, it’s a place for industry members to hear directly from leaders and trailblazers about hospitality and gaming’s hottest topics. Tickets for the AHG Congress are $180 per person and are on sale now.
Head to the AHG Expo website to find out everything you need to know about attending. While you’re there, register as a visitor for the AHG Expo! It’s totally free and will save you time on Day One, while also ensuring you don’t miss out on any important Expo correspondence ahead of the event. You can explore travel and accommodation options provided by the AHG Expo’s official partner CCM Travel on the website, too.
Visitors should also keep an eye on the AHG Expo Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages for updates, and be sure to sign up to the AHG Expo email newsfeed to be the first to find out about the latest announcements.
Thinking of exhibiting? Most of the floor plan has already sold, so you’ll want to get in quick. You can find out more about exhibiting on the AHG Expo website.
