Clubs Taking the Stress out of Christmas Day for Families
There is no other day on the calendar that requires more preparation, cost and effort than putting on a Christmas Day lunch with your loved ones. That’s why more and more people are choosing the comfort and affordability of their local club.
With no preparation required – or any of the cleaning up afterwards – it’s no wonder that people are increasingly taking advantage of special Christmas meals at clubs.
Here’s just a taste of what NSW clubs are dishing up on Christmas Day.
Bankstown Sports
The Greenfield Station Bistro is serving a full festive buffet, featuring roasts, fresh seafood and all the classic Christmas sides - which of course includes pavlova. Seats are $140 for members ($155 non-member), $68 for kids under 12 and kids under three eat free. Session times are 11.30am to 1.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm. For more information, click here.
Belmont 16s Sailing Club
There are two floors of festivities. The Sails Eatery / SALT Kitchen dining area on the ground floor has a two-course meal for $74 and $39 for kids under 12. The South East View on the first floor will be hosting a decadent gourmet Christmas feast with expansive views of the lake for $199 per person. For more information click here.
Club Blacktown
Villaggio will offer two lunch seatings - the first from 11.30am to 2pm and the second from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. For dinner, the first seating is from 5pm to 7pm and the second seating begins at 7.30pm. Ocean Treasure will also be open for yum cha and lunch from 10am to 2.30pm, followed by dinner from 5.30pm to 9.30pm, featuring their full menu, including live seafood. Club Central Menai
Christmas lunch features a three-course set menu with options for everyone, featuring a deluxe roast. The price is $92 for members ($110 for non-members) and $52 for children aged three to 12. Cronulla RSL
Christmas by the beach at the Cronulla RSL Soldiers on the Esplanade has already sold out. It features a three-course meal (featuring seafood, turkey and lamb), a three-hour beverage package and live entertainment. Dee Why RSL
On the Northern Beaches, Dee Why RSL has multiple options. The Bistro is already booked out with a three-course meal for $72 for members ($85 non-members) and $35 for children of members ($41 non-members). The Showroom buffet is also sold out with pricing at $140 for adult members ($165 non-members) and $55 for children of members ($65 non-members). Flame’s four-course lunch is also sold out. Epping Club
At The Epping Club there will be a festive feast priced at $145 for members ($159 non-members) and children aged two to 12 can dine for $49. The head chef will present a deluxe buffet featuring king prawns, pacific oysters, roast turkey, beef, lamb and all the favourite Christmas desserts. Santa will also be in attendance. Guildford Leagues

Harbord Diggers
Teddy Larkins is taking bookings for their Christmas Day lunch via phone. Additionally, the DD Collective at Harbord Diggers will host a festive seafood buffet lunch from 11.30am to 2.30pm, with prices set at $95 per adult and $50 per child (12 and under). For more information, click here.
Ingleburn RSL
For $80, Ingleburn RSL is offering a two main and dessert offering featuring roast meats, tortellini, salmon and dessert - featuring Christmas pudding. For $48 kids can have a schnitzel, roast pork and ice cream for dessert. For more information, click here.
Katoomba RSL
Christmas lunch features a sumptuous two-course buffet for just $100 per person, with special pricing of $50 for children aged five to 12 and only $25 for those under five. The Club is open from 11am to 6pm, with function doors opening at 11.30am. The auditorium seating has already sold out, with brasserie seating also available. There will also be live entertainment. Liverpool Catholic Club
A Christmas buffet lunch at Atrium Steakhouse will have an array of festive delights, including crispy honey soya pork belly, turkey breast with chestnut and sage stuffing as well as a seafood selection. There will also be Christmas sweets including classic Christmas pudding, cinnamon roasted pineapple and a variety of dessert cups. Adult seats are priced at $159 per person (ages 13 and up), while children aged four to 12 can choose between a buffet option for $49 or a set menu option for $25. Mingara Recreation Club
Mingara is holding a Grand Buffet Christmas Lunch in their Events Centre with a delightful family Christmas-themed buffet featuring a variety of meats, seafood, seasonal vegetables, salads, condiments and breads. There’s also an array of Christmas-themed desserts. Doors open at 11am and the event will conclude at 2.30pm. Tickets are priced at $120 for members and $135 for visitors, with children aged three to 12 years at $49, while children under three are free. Different dietary requirements can also be catered for. Moama Bowling Club
Christmas lunch is available at 12pm or 1pm and is $80 for adult members ($95 non-members), children (under 13 years) $35 ($40 kids of non-members). Mollymook Golf Club
Christmas lunch at Mollymook Golf Club’s bistro features a three-course menu for adults, with a two-course menu available for children. Patrons can also opt for a seafood upgrade. Enjoy the comfort of the Club’s facilities while taking in the breathtaking ocean views. There are two sittings, at 11am or 1.30pm. The cost is $125 per person for adults and $40 per child.
Parramatta Leagues
The Club has two lunch options. At Jacks Cucina, there will be live music and a decadent menu that includes an Italian set menu with antipasti, sumptuous Christmas mains, and indulgent desserts such as banoffee pie and Christmas pudding. Prices are $79 for members ($89 for non-members) and $25 for children under 12, with those under three dining for free. There’s also a buffet option featuring succulent roasts, vibrant salads and delightful desserts, available from 11.30am to 2.30pm at $110 for members ($120 for non-members) and $45 for children under 12, again with complimentary meals for children under three. Firestone has sittings starting from 11.00am, with a full buffet featuring traditional ham, succulent roasts, fresh seafood and an array of delicious desserts. Tickets are priced at $160 per adult and $55 per child (12 years of age and under), with a 10 per cent member discount available for in-club ticket purchases. Tradies
Folk restaurant has a Christmas Feast delicious dishes to share with the family including oysters, prawns, salt and pepper squid, pork belly and gnocchi. The Westport Club
Christmas lunch at Aqua has a selection of Christmas favourites with cold seafood starters and mains including roast pork, turkey and ham. For dessert there’s a trifle with layers of sherry sponge cake, Morello cherries, strawberries, kiwi fruit, custard, jelly and whipped cream. Tickets are $140 for members and $160 non-members.
