Delegates Let Their Hair Down at Conference Dinner
Almost 600 people turned out at the ClubsNSW Conference Dinner at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre last night.
The night, themed ‘Around the World’, was an opportunity for delegates to let their hair down, following the conclusion of the Conference’s official first day, which included keynote addresses, panel discussions and the AGM.
Celebrity host Dave Hughes had the crowd in hysterics as he delivered his renowned comedic routines, while ensuring the night stayed on track.
Guests were treated to an incredible entertainment lineup, including a Moulin Rouge Show, world-renowned speed painter Brad Blaze and globally acclaimed tribute act Killer Queen.
But of course, the best was saved until last, with the night’s headliner, pop rock legends Boom Crash Opera, undoubtedly the crowd favourite.
ClubsNSW CEO Rebecca Riant welcomed guests and promised an unforgettable night, with the crowd not disappointed.
“Many of you have travelled far and wide to join us and I can assure you won’t regret it — you are in for a real treat tonight,” she said.
“A big thank you to our Event Partner for this evening — Aristocrat. We really appreciate your support in being able to put on this fantastic evening.”
The night was an opportunity for delegates to network and mingle in a relaxed environment, ahead of a full day of Conference activities from 9am this morning.
That includes the first panel session The Star Casino — Lessons from ‘Cashless’ (Digital Payments for Gaming) implementation and Marty Moore’s keynote address No Bullsh!t Leadership.
Other areas of focus today include live entertainment, cyber security, hospitality trends, regulatory risk and addressing domestic and family violence.
The 2024 Conference officially draws to a close this afternoon.
