ClubGRANTS Advertising Campaign a Big Success in the Tweed Area
ClubsNSW recently ran a local area marketing campaign promoting the great support that nine clubs in the Tweed region give to a local charitable organisation through the ClubGRANTS program.
Clubs across the area banded together in support of Shaping Outcomes, which offers early intervention services for children with a disability and/or developmental delays, as well as their families.
Shaping Outcomes has received ClubGRANTS funding from clubs in the Tweed Shire for nearly a decade, amounting to a total of $320,000.
To showcase this fantastic support effort, a campaign ran in and around the Tweed, across a range of channels, including Broadcast Video On Demand (BVOD), online pre-roll video, bus panels and social media, and the results were extremely positive.
Three videos were produced and these were served to a total of 424,000 people. The advertisements were clicked more than 1200 times, generating a result which was 154 per cent higher than the campaign benchmark.
Five bus panels featuring ClubGRANTS Shaping Outcomes artwork ran for a period of six weeks, and it is estimated that over 70,000 people saw the adverts in and around the Tweed area.
The success of the campaign can be attributed to the charitable nature of the content, which is of great interest to the people of the Tweed area.
ClubGRANTS marketing campaigns form a key component of the ClubsNSW marketing calendar, as they shine a light on the wonderful contributions clubs make to their local communities.

ClubGRANTS is one of Australia’s largest and most established grant programs and is a partnership between ClubsNSW and the NSW Government. It commenced in 1998 to formalise the longstanding practice of clubs responding and contributing to local community needs.
In the past 12 months, a record $121 million in financial support for community services, projects and programs was provided through the ClubGRANTS program — that figure exceeded the mandatory contribution required under the ClubGRANTS Guidelines by over $50 million.
