Wests Ashfield Brings Back the Laughs

After marking its 70th anniversary this month, Wests Ashfield is kicking off a new era of community connection and live entertainment, driven by strong member appetite for more local experiences.

The Club launhced Comedy Cartel on Saturday 1 November, featuring top Australian comedians Joe Avati and George Kapiniaris. The event follows the sell-out success of the Club’s recent Neil McGuigan Wine Dinner, which booked out within 72 hours, and adds momentum to a growing line-up of member events including Melbourne Cup celebrations and regular live music nights.

Under the leadership of Holman Barnes Group CEO Daniel Paton, Wests Ashfield is re-establishing itself as a go-to destination for locals wanting to connect, celebrate and enjoy high-quality entertainment close to home.

The Club’s 70th anniversary gala dinner attracted a packed house, with employee celebrations further highlighting Wests Ashfield’s longstanding role as a community hub.
