Dural Club Back Bigger and Better Than Ever
Dural Club is back and better than ever after the grand reopening of its newly-upgraded facilities on 29 September.
Since amalgamating with Parramatta Leagues Club in August 2023, Dural Club has experienced a significant transformation.
President Greg Monaghan says the upgrade reflects the ever-expanding and evolving Hills district of Sydney.
“We’ve seen tremendous growth in the area and heard the community’s call for a refreshed space that reflects the vibrant, intergenerational families we serve,” he says.
“With over 8000 members in the Hills area across the Parra Leagues Club Group, Dural Club will provide these members with amenities conveniently closer to home.
“Our goal with this rebrand and renovation is to create a welcoming environment where every member of the family can find joy, celebration and connection.”
The redesigned venue boasts an open-plan layout, a new bar and café, spacious function rooms, a brand-new children’s play area and lawn bowls facilities.
The Club’s vision of being a community-focused venue, delivering exceptional dining, unforgettable events and engaging entertainment, is now ensured.
Parramatta Leagues Club CEO Chris Dimou said long-time members for generations have chosen the Club as their destination for celebrating important events and they’ll proudly continue with now the capability of bigger and better ones.
“Dural Club has always been a vital part of our community,” he says.
“We have members who have grown up at Dural Club, marking significant life milestones such as christenings, birthday parties and engagements.
“With these renovations, we now have the capability to facilitate weddings as well, enhancing our role in celebrating the most cherished moments in our members’ lives. It’s not just about a new look but about deepening the connections and celebrations we share.”
In attendance for the launch were local community members, including Hills Shire Mayor Michelle Byrne, Castle Hill Liberal Party MP Mark Hodges, and councillors Mitchell Blue and Frank De Masi.
Delighted Dural locals were aplenty enjoying delicious food trucks, a function showcase, live music, free kids’ activities, inflatables and more.
