Come On, Bathurst, Let's Go Party
Bathurst Panthers has jumped on board the hype of the new Barbie movie by adding a pink Barbie Burger to their menu.
Featuring a succulent beef patty topped with cheese, grilled bacon, fresh lettuce and a smokey BBQ sauce, the delicious burger is hugged by a Barbie pink brioche bun and is served with a side of mouth-watering sweet potato fries — all for the very reasonable price of $16.50.
“Our Head Chef Terry Zohar came up with the idea and has done a great job!” said Bathurst Panthers General Manager John Fearnley.
“The Burger is selling really well off the back of how well the Barbie movie is doing,” he said.
Inspired by his partner, Terry came up with the idea and put the burger on the menu as a bit of a joke one night.
“It wasn’t for sale the next night, and everyone was asking for it, so we had to bring it back!” he said.
“We have had lots of great feedback, everyone loves it!”
After enjoying the pink Barbie Burger, you can catch the Barbie movie next door to the Club at MetroCinemas.
“We are so close to the cinema, so people are always coming here to have something to eat before they go to the movies,” Terry said.
The town of Bathurst has gone crazy for the Barbie movie and the Club’s Barbie Burger, with the special menu item even making the front page of the local paper.
“It really has been a team effort, and everyone has jumped on board with it,” John said.
“We are really just having some fun.”
