Baulkham Hills Sports Club Unveils Lighter, Brighter Venue After Renovations
Baulkham Hills Sports Club has officially unveiled the completion of its latest renovations, delivering a refreshed, modernised venue designed to enhance comfort, accessibility and the overall member experience.
Phase 1 of the renovation project focused on revitalising key areas of the Club, including the restaurant, reception and bar spaces, creating a lighter and brighter environment for members and guests.
The restaurant has been upgraded with additional seating and a more efficient layout, further enhancing the popular Mike’s Grill dining experience. The reception area has also been modernised to improve accessibility and allow staff to better assist patrons as they arrive.
A larger and more contemporary bar has been introduced to improve venue flow, while a new giant screen—measuring more than 3.8 metres wide—has been installed in the main lounge, ensuring optimal viewing of major sporting events.
Bankstown Sports Group CEO Michael Clancy says the renovations were carefully planned with members at the centre of every decision.
“These renovations were about elevating the experience for our members by enhancing the comfort across all areas of the venue – whether it be in the restaurant, at the bar, or watching the game on the big screen. We wanted to make their club feel even more like home,” Clancy says.
Bankstown Sports General Manager – Venues David Hills says the project balanced modernisation with a strong connection to the Club’s roots.
“We have such a diverse membership base here at Baulkham Hills and we wanted to try and cater for all of them, from families to young 20-somethings, to our elderly patrons,” Hills says.
“Comfort and a great customer experience were our key focus areas, while respecting the history of the venue in the local area. And I think we have achieved that.”
The Club has confirmed Phase 2 of the renovation project will commence in 2026, with further details to be announced.
